History

As outlined on Home, established in 2001, we've been solving AI & analytics problems ever since, for both the big-end of town - the likes of KPMG, Coles, the banks, Australia Post - and a multitude of Melbourne-based tech, greentech, biotech, fintech, legaltech, agtech & retail startups.

Paul Pallaghy, PhD, Principal at Resolute AI, is a seasoned AI consultant, a start-up founder, a University of Melbourne PhD physics/comp sci graduate, ex-CSIRO project leader & government & industry grant awardee.

The remainder of our team are expert data scientists or cloud engineers in their own right.

To highlight a few case-studies, we're particularly proud of work we've done in machine-learning-based price optimization that generates real-life store-specific and day-specific inverted profit parabola plots enabling pricing to be automatically set, fraud and anti-gaming systems, churn customer intervention for the biomedical supply industry, NLP and LLM-based customer-service automation, and algorithm design for recommendation notification and reputation measurement and streaming IoT processing for agtech .

Even leveraging (lets say, harnessing!) conversational so-called 'large language models' (LLMs) including the now famous GPT3.

And of course we're statisticians & cloud/AI engineers, scientifically able to measure technical parameters like statistical significance, validation, bias, recall and over-fitting.

Hassle-free consulting

We keep things really simple at Resolute AI. We conduct a pre-paid feasibility week or two, based on your data, create a milestone plan and, ongoing, we link though to you, intuitive weekly live update reports of analysis, AI function and custom metrics so you can assess how things are going, in many cases without face-to-face meetings, to save time and sanity. AI becomes almost commoditized.

Because AI projects are still research projects, no matter what anyone promises, for the benefit of both sides, we do not sign or employ complex contracts except of course the necessary NDAs and other data security agreements. Ongoing, we just do weekly pre-paid work towards a list of agreed milestones and you can take the current results anytime you like as a documented Docker image.

The most you risk is a week of work. And often we deliver ahead of schedule and cheaper than the estimate

Pricing

At Resolute AI we work on your project at $125/hour + GST for a minimum of 10 hours/week on our site, notwithstanding face-to-face visits to your site. According to the estimated hours to completion, it's up to you to set what multiple of 10 hours/week our team works on your project.

Our work is pre-paid two weeks in advance and any un-worked weeks are reimbursed if the work is paused or decommissioned. Timesheets confirm work and any slight deviances from agreed hours/week are noted and quickly evened out from week to week. It means there's a simple uniform invoice until any change and the work is easy to assess due to the on-line reports that include multiple custom metrics.

Our work is delivered with code & user documentation & includes built-in use-case demonstration tests.

Security

We employ world's best-practice data security.

For example, we never mix business logic, configs, authentications or data, utilizing Docker containers, Docker Swarm secrets & volumes appropriately.

We respect data sharing, nominated personnel & site/device access agreements to the letter.
